After seeing, I realized I've been meaning to do the same with my mod list as I've spent hours upon hours tinkering and sorting through PS4 mods to determine which ones are both bug-free and lore friendly. It is super important to follow the recommended load order as well. Is a document from a few months ago that lists most of the mods I was using in their correct order. I've tinkered with some, but the order is generally the same.
If you want to use a mod not listed, try to find something similar on my list and put it in the same category. The mods listed below are NOT IN CORRECT LOAD ORDER. I don't want to re-sort that all now.
Just look at the above link to see a very detailed ordering guide. These are the mods I think are the best for PS4. I can verify they have no bugs, no gray face glitches, and won't mess your game up if you uninstall. I have hundreds of hours on PS4 at this point, and can promise these are all great mods.HomesI have 21 characters -so I have a ton of player homes. Most people do not, but these are all great.Mannequins Stay Put (a must have).Hearthfire Map Marker Fix (changes map marker to the little house icon, not the town icon).Improved Hearthfire Lighting (removes the weird ambient light that exists in the vanilla Hearthfire homes).Hearthfire Display Case Fix (fixes buggy display cases).Chartreusepod Reverie (MUST HAVE for any Bosmer players.
Seriously, this is the only home a Wood Elf on PS4 should be using. It's incredible).Whitewind Player Home (one of the best homes on PS4. Must have for Nords, buried deep in the snow outside Winterhold).Crypt of the Old Guard (perfect Vampire home. Tons of details and storage, looks amazing. Must have for Vampires who don't particularly like living in Volkihar Castle).Necrosis (one of the best homes on PS4. A new world-space, tons of static decor, a merchant, just a ton of stuff. Good for Necromancers and evil-doers).Riverstone Hut (small house in Riverwood, great for a spellsword.
Very dark, so I used Portable Tools to add some candles).Hunter's Cabin of Riverwood (perfect for a grizzled hunter character).Rayek's End (a Batcave if there ever was one. Used for my Batman build, but perfect for Argonians or sneaky characters).Hunter's Treehouse (one-room treehouse for a wandering Nord. I use it for my Khajiit monk, because cats like trees, right?).Ramshackle Trading Post (adds a basement home to the Ramshackle Trading Post on Solstheim. Good for Dunmer assassins).Whiterun Watch (a generic cabin in the Whiterun plains. Good for low-key travelers. Using it for my Dragonhunter now).Looter's Cove (one of many homes by Rezthebear. His are amazing - static decor, small yet filled with everything you need, bug-free.
This is a cozy home for a thief that connects to both Riften and the Ragged Flagon).Wanderer's Abode (another Rezthebear home. Perfect for wandering pilgrims. Small but with tons of detail, this is good for Nords/Bretons/Imperials and is one of the more 'generic' homes that can fit most player characters).Solitude Inn Player Room - Merchant Home (another Rezthebear home. Turns the room in the Winking Skeever into a merchant's home. I use it for my Imperial Bard build.
It can cause frame rate drops seems to happen if I have had my PS4 on for a long time, but re-booting the system fixes it immediately. This is great for bards/travelling merchants).Wizard's Laboratory (Rezthebear again. This is a Dwemer-themed mage's home in the northwest corner of the map.
Great for any wizards/sorcerers).Agent's Basement (the last Rezthebear home. A small, one-room home in Raven Rock that used the be the home of an East Empire Company agent. Perfect for an Imperial Spy or Scout, but I'm using it for a Redguard Mercenary).Draco's Heljarchen Manor (adds walls, guards and a merchant to Heljarchen. Very Nordic themed - statues of Talos everywhere. The merchant has the gray face bug, but he is a gray Khajiit so it's hard to notice and he just stays in his tent anyway lol).Draco's Lakeview Manor (see above, but with Dwemer. No merchant)Graphics.Rain and Snow FX (very nice touch).BIG: More Blood & Gore (just adds more blood).Re-Color Replacer Pack (modifies the colors of Steel, Ebony and Elven gear to be a bit more silver/black/gold).Animated Weapon Enchants (adds some awesome, enchantment-specific visuals to weapons).True Alternation Armor Visuals (restores the cut visuals from Flesh spells - Oak has a wood-esque look, Iron is gray, etc.).Smooth Human Female Faces (removes the wrinkles from your Breton female player characters)Locations.Magical College of Winterhold (arguably the best mod for PS4. Not anything noticeable.

The trees and grass 'pop in' a bit, but that's from vanilla Skyrim as, and Project Hippie adds so many. I've been playing with 100 mods active pretty much since I first got the game and haven't noticed anything unusual beyond the occasional CE-34878-0 error (which is a PS4 bug that is not related to mods).I have encountered the 'free up 0 KB of space bug', but managed to work around it by using a mod. For some reason, I've noticed I can always save when I go inside the Chartreuse Reverie player home. Very weird, but I've gotten around that bug twice by doing that. These bugs are reported a ton by people playing without mods as well, so it's just the buggy nature of vanilla Skyrim on PS4. Just make sure you have a lot of back up saves (I keep my last 4 manual saves and 1 quick save per character), and turn off auto-save as that can cause a lot of bugs and errors as well.
For the first time on consoles, players will be able to download Skyrim mods on PS4 and Xbox One. The recent launch of mods in Fallout 4 allowed players to customise their adventure with graphical tweaks, new sound effects and even entire new missions, and with hundreds mods available from day one on Xbox One, expect similar healthy support for Skyrim upon release. How to install mods in Skyrim remastered on PS4 and Xbox OneMods in Skyrim Special Edition on consoles are accessed in the same way as, but require a step before you can get started. Here's what to do.1. Go to Bethesda's official website and create a, if you haven't already.2. Once you have an account, select the Mods option on the game's main menu and log into your account.3.

Once you have finished downloading mods - you can see everything you've installed in 'My Library' at the top of the page - go back to the Main Menu by pressing Back. The mod selection and data files will reload, and you can load a save with the mods installed. There are a few things to note when installing mods on a console:. As Bethesda points out in its loading screen, mods are always at your own risk - if there are issues, you can always disable Mods by going back into the Mods menu. You can also see what's downloaded during play on the Pause screen. Trophies and Achievements are disabled while mods are active.
It's possible to view all available mods by platform -, and - by logging into your Bethesda account on the publisher's official website. If the Mods section isn't visible, make sure your game is updated to the latest version.

Once you have the update, please restart the game.— Bethesda Support (@BethesdaSupport) What is the difference between Skyrim mods on PS4 and Xbox One?After some initial back and forth between Bethesda and Sony, the PS4 version of Skyrim, but will only allow assets that already exist within the game - so don't expect anything like on PS4.As a result, there has been a large gulf between the number of mods available on both systems -. Meanwhile, the storage space reserved for mods on each console is also different - 5GB on Xbox One, and 1GB on PS4.As our, mods should mostly consist of text changes that can be as small as 1MB, so expect creations like a level editor with new quests and dialogue, or changes to how the world behaves, than anything new and unusual.
List Of Mods For Skyrim Ps4 Mod

Readmore.I am saying it is more work to begin with, doesn't matter how dev friendly it is.They would have to do this for all 3 systems (I am not counting Wii U), as Microsoft has also said how easy it is for devs.Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony will always say that their devs will have it easier each generation, but talk is easier than action.Still, they would have to separate their time from what they are already working on, and I would rather see them working on a new game with their whole team, instead of being divided. No matter how easy a system is to work with, it means nothing if the game creators don't know how to work with it. Skyrim is buggy on PS3, yes, but it also is on PC and 360, so. What's your point? There are plenty of buggy games. But if you look at the PS3, some games aren't.
These programmers know what they're doing. Look at Lair (wasn't presented well but the game is mostly sound), inFamous 1 & 2 (amazing examples of what knowing what you're doing), and Sonic Unleashed or Generations. Lair and inFamous are PS3 exclusive, but the two Sonic games were multiplatform, and ported to PS3 and 360, yet the games aren't super buggy. My mom has used my 2400 USD laptop before, but with great effort and usually not with the best results. However, I can use it and get everything I want out of it.No amount of technology and user/dev friendliness means anything if you don't know what you're doing with it. Maybe they'd change it a bit to be compatible so you could buy it off the PSN and play it on your PS4, but I SERIOUSLY doubt it.And they won't remake it. No TES has been, and Skyrim was recent. They aren't going to rebuild a game just because of new consoles two years after the game was released and, what, 4-6 prior of development? Yeah.I don't think it'd be too different.
The fundamentals of the last three games have been. Mostly the same?
I know Oblivion and Skyrim were rather similar, though things were different in Morrowind. But I think they'll stick with this formula. I expect mostly larger areas, better models and textures, better AI, etc etc. As Sean pointed out, assuming TES6 is released about when we're expecting in another 3-4 years, I think they'll be able to make something awesome. Just compare Oblivion (late 6th gen/early 7th gen) to Skyrim (late 7th gen). How to program in adobe flash.
Big difference.
